Greetings Everyone
Life is Good Great.
I have been rearranging my ducks (life) as I will have my 2nd spine surgery on Friday February the 5th. Everything should go smoothly : )
The Neurosurgeon is super.
He laid the law down to me as I did not follow the other instructions 2 1/2 years ago : (
I was approved, the other day, for my SSI Benefits.
It has been a long {6 years} winding road to be approved.
I can now breathe a sigh of relief!!!
I still do NOT have a photo of my 6 month old grand daughter in the tutu I made her : (
Malaika has had company at her apartment and is a sweet thoughtful hostess.
So, Mom {me} has to be patient; especially since I will be recuperating soon.
I bought my URL {} over a year ago for 5 years.
I have been unable to find anyone who would create it for an affordable amount.
I will enroll, after I have recuperated enough to sit in a classroom, in a local adult night school that is teaching Dream Weaver so I can do it : )

I want a place to sell my many vintage jewelry findings and paper products.
It is late 9:36 pm and I started this early this morning : )
gotta go to bed

  1. YOU are in my thoughts and prayers and I will continue to do so. There is a scripture that is running through my brain (what's left) that I think you would like:

    Blessings, dear one,

  2. Oh I'm so glad you got your benefits set up. I will pray for your surgery and healing!
    Thanks for stopping by :)

  3. Oh my darling friend! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers all this week especially on Friday. I will be rooting that all goes well for you and wish you a full and speedy recovery. Congrats on getting the benefits! That is awesome! I don't know why they have to be such buggers about it. I can't wait to see the pics of the tutu. I bet she is just adorable in it!

Hoping you have a speedy recovery!

  4. Carole, I'm wishing you the very best!!
If you have time Please stop by my blog.. I have an award for you!
    Blessings ~Mary~ :-}

  5. Carole
I have thought of you often wondering what was going on and now I know. So sorry your going thru all this and know we all will be thinking of you Friday and afterwards for a speeding recovery. Wish I lived close by to help you.
Take care and stay in touch.
Glad to you got your SSI

  6. Hi Carole,

I've been wondering how you've been doing. Should I say that I'm glad you're having your spinal surgery? Well, I'm glad that it will give you a chance to feel better.

    And the SSI benefits! Awesome!

    Take care...thinking of you.

  7. Hi Carole, I will be praying for you and this time, listen to your doctor. I know that is difficult for crafters to be told that, but I am probably the most hard headed when it comes to resting, but 2 weeks ago, I got knocked to my knees with an infection, so I listen now. Wishing you the very best and since it is my daughter's birthday, I will be thinking of both of you. Love and hugs, Pat

  8. Carole - OMG! I've been wondering how you were doing. I am thinking good thoughts, wishes and prayers for you tomorrow for your surgery. I'm so glad things are working out with your benefits. I know you will have a fabulous website - what a great experience to learn Dream Weaver. You take good care of yourself and heal soon! You are missed in the blogosphere - we want you back!
    Sharon :-)
P.S. Miss Gracie sends her mews to you too!

  9. Hi sweet Carole, I have been thinking of you so very much and praying that everything went well with your surgery today. I hope you know sweet friend that you are always in my prayers. :) I hope you have a very speedy recovery! I know how hard it is to sit still, :) but please listen to your doctor dear friend. :)
We had some flooding in our house when we had all of that rain 2 weeks ago and when I went to check on my Mom's house, part of her kitchen ceiling had caved in! What a mess, but everything is ok now.
I'm thinking of you...Love & Hugs, Carol Anne

  10. Carole! I've just been thinking about you today. I hope that your surgery went well and that you up and about soon. Take care and do what the doctor tells you this time! ;o)

  11. Hi there lady :) Holler at us all when you feel up to it!

  13. Thank you so much for visiting my blog! You made my day :o) I also pray that your surgery went well. Your admission that you did not "follow drs orders" last time reminded me of my daughter who has back surgery at age 17 to repair a disc. She did not follow drs orders either and actually went bungi jumping when she thought she was all healed! I am absolutely positive that you will have no inclination to do such a thing! Rest well....heal well....God Bless.
