In the Catskills, Comfort in a Gingerbread House

Hi Everyone:
Please click on the link and read about the most adorable cottage!!!
This is the owner, Sandy and her Maltese.
Sandra Foster turned a Catskills hunting cabin into the romantic Victorian cottage she had always wanted.
I was reading the New York Times article and a few paragraphs from the end
I read the name, Beth Neumann
a fellow blogger whom I have been following forever because she is so nice and creative!!!
So I am excited to read the article that has Beth's name in it and that we can all see this beautiful oasis

Sandy created for herself.

It is so ethereal!!!
She probably has little dainty faeries watching out for her too!!!
Have a wonderfully wistful weekend!!!
peace

Oh my goodness. I want that cottage! That is the dreamiest cottage I've ever seen. How lucky she is to have such a gorgeous, quaint place to get away. Thanks so much for sharing that. How are you this week? I hope all is well with you. So glad to see you posting again!
    Big hugs,

This is my first visit to your lovely blog. I will be returning! Thank you for sharing Sandy's Gingerbread House. I am currently looking for inspirational photos for my studio, which was originally a one room school house. Carole's cottage is beautiful.

    Enjoy your 4th!

That little cottage has been on my mind night and day since I saw it!!!! I wonder if she actually ever sleeps there? I didn't see that answered anywhere.

  13. Carole, that is the sweetest cottage I have ever seen. Mine is falling down and no saving it-the termites got to it via my neighbors rotted tree. It was such a cute dollshouse. I posted the pictures a few pages back on my blog. Hope your back is doing fine. My surgery has been put off until after December, because the new injections are helping a great deal. Thank you Lord for that. Love and hugs, Pat
